This investigation is directed towards developing a microbial consortium for fast and effective composting method. During the initial screen experiments for Cellulase, Lignin peroxidase, Xylanase, Phospahtase, Lipase, Protease, Urease and ?- Amylase enzyme s, 30 mesophilic bacterial assimilations,17 thermophilic bacterial cultures, 18 mesophilic fungal cultures and 14 thermophilic fungal cultures were isolated.
